Remember and Obey: God is Faithful Part 1

One of the greatest truths in all of Scripture is this: we can trust the God of the Bible. In todays study, we examine Deuteronomy 7 and the seven powerful promises God made to Israel—each introduced by the phrase "God shall..." These promises of blessing, healing, and victory were conditional upon Israel’s obedience, reminding us that faith and obedience go hand in hand.
Through these verses, we explore:🔑 God’s faithfulness in keeping His covenant and showing mercy🔑 God’s love in providing for His people
As we unpack these truths, we’ll see how God’s promises apply to our faith today. What kind of faith do you have in the promises of God? Let’s study together and find strength in the unchanging faithfulness of our Lord.

Remember and Obey: Thou Art Holy Before God Part 2

Victory belongs to the Lord, but preparation belongs to His people. Today we dive into Deuteronomy 7:1–5 to uncover the keys to preparing for the victories God has promised. As Israel stood on the edge of the Promised Land, they were reminded that their success would not come from their own strength, but from God's power and faithfulness. Yet, they also had a role to play—removing idols, guarding their hearts, and staying faithful to God's commands.  
Join us as we explore the parallels between Israel’s journey and our own spiritual battles today. How can we trust God for victory while ensuring our hearts remain steadfast? How do we remove the spiritual obstacles that hinder our walk with Christ? Drawing from both Old and New Testament passages, we’ll examine the importance of faith, separation from sin, and a heart fully devoted to the Lord.

Today we explore the importance of resisting the temptation to doubt God's presence and provision. Drawing from Deuteronomy 6:16 and its cross-reference in Exodus 17, we examine how the Israelites tested God at Massah by questioning His guidance and care. We’ll also discuss the significance of righteousness through obedience, as outlined in Deuteronomy 6:20-25, and how it ties into the greater theme of redemption and faith in Christ. Join us as we uncover these biblical principles and their relevance to our daily walk with God.

 How do blessings from God sometimes lead us to forget Him? In this episode, we explore the dangers of prosperity through Deuteronomy 6:10–16. The Israelites were warned against forgetting the God who delivered them, even as they enjoyed blessings they didn’t build, fill, dig, or plant.  
We’ll discuss:  - The importance of remembering God's provision.  - Why reverence and obedience to the one true God protect us from idolatry.  - The dangers of questioning God's leading and presence, as illustrated at Massah.

Remember and Obey: God's Refuge and Law

In this episode, we explore the profound concept of Cities of Refuge as introduced in Numbers 35—six cities set apart for those who caused unintentional harm, offering peaceful protection and a place of hope. These cities provide a powerful illustration of God’s mercy and justice. 
We then transition to the covenant God established with a new generation in Deuteronomy 5, where the call to learn, hear, and keep God’s statutes becomes clear. While we are not under the Old Law, we are invited to fulfill the Law of Christ—walking in the Spirit and bearing one another’s burdens.
