Genesis: God’s Promise and Abraham’s Request

In Genesis 18 we see two powerful truths: God’s promise to Abraham and Sarah, and Abraham’s intercession for the righteous in Sodom. Sarah laughed in doubt, but the Lord reminded her, “Is any thing too hard for the Lord?” Abraham, in turn, boldly pleaded for others, though Lot’s testimony carried little influence. This passage challenges us to trust God in the impossible and to stand faithfully in prayer and witness for those around us.
